Long considered dead, young millennials and older zoomers have revived the freedom, space, and warmth of an open floor plan. Many of today’s homes don’t contain the number of walls of their parent’s homes did.
This may be due to the fact that young folks spend a lot of time on social media. They’re used to boundaries being broken down, and don’t mind hearing noise from other sides of the house — after all, they’re used to noise.
If you’re looking for a house that feels contemporary and modern, get a place with an open floor plan, or consider knocking down some walls.
