North St. Paul Remodel & Addition

• Tore the roof off the garage and exercise room and added a large 12×24 walk in closet above the exercise room
• Over the garage we added a custom craft room which included a sitting area, a TV, a viewing space, a crafting area with tons of storage, extra deep counter space, and a sink
• We also added a large storage room in this space with direct access to the garage below
• We configured the junior suite, master suite, family room on the main level, and the exercise room
• A large brick chimney was removed to make room for the addition so we reworked the chimney with new stainless steel piping
• We had to get creative with the tile patching in the master bathroom as the only extra tile they had that matched was installed in front of the main floor fireplace
• The new oversized master closet is any closet lovers dream, with multiple large windows to view the lake below
• Many new doors were installed in the upstairs hallway as well as the master suite, along with new base trim and casing installed to bring the style from the main floor, upstairs
• New flooring was installed throughout the home
• On the exterior we seamlessly transitioned the new into the existing by tying the roof lines in including matching roof pitches, matching dormer finish details, lacing in new stone with the existing, and using existing siding to lace in the back side of the home
• We also matched the soffits and fascia from 13 years ago, replaced some stone on the existing columns, and matched decorative corbels

This project, like most, presented its fair share of challenges. Like always, we got it done and the client is beyond satisfied with the quality, fit, and finish of the completed project.
